What are the must see islands around Medulin?

1. Levan

Levan is the most famous island around Medulin because of its sandy beach. It is the only island in Istria with a sandy beach. Since sand is not that common in Croatia, that is what makes this island so unique. On the island there are 3 beach bars and restaurants and options to rent sunbeds. Another interesting fact about this island is that weddings are sometimes organized on the beach. This says a lot because if somebody from another part of the world chooses the island Levan for such a special day it has to be a special island. 

2. Ceja

Ceja is another beautiful island really close to Medulin. It has pebble beaches and turquoise waters. On the island there is only one restaurant but it has everything you might need and an excellent view. What is special about this island Ceja is that a lot of rabbits live there. So it is not possible to visit the island without seeing them. 

3. Bodulaš

Bodulaš is a beautiful island between Levan and Ceja. This island is special because it's never crowded and you can anchor the boat next to it and swim in the crystal clear sea. A fun fact about this island is that you can sometimes see cows roaming around. 

4. Fenera

Fenera island, located behind Ceja island, is easily recognizable by the tall monument in the middle. One interesting fact about this island is that there are a lot of seagull nests and a lot of unfriendly seagulls defending their nests. This island might not be the best option for exploring on foot, but it is ideal if you want to escape from the crowds and anchor yourself to it because of its clear water. 

5. Fenoliga

Fenoliga is located on the south of Kamenjak. It is special and known because there are dinosaur footprints on the island. But that is not the only reason people visit it, the island also has crystal clear water ideal for swimming and snorkeling.
